com. and tech week 2

Ok. Another week, another assignment, Mr. Sharma has us working on a presentation about networking, how it works, what options are there and houses with smart technology. I didnt know about networking until now though, I just thought that the computers connect to the internet through the modem and that is about all I know. Turns out that its much more complicated then that, the computers all have to connect to a network before using the internet, the network allows the computers to communicate and send files and such between eachother.

Week 3

We have begun learning the fundamentals of building a computer. right now we are learning what parts make the computer work (RAM, cpu chip, ETC) we are going to be working on a presentation of what parts we are going to be using for our "dream" computer, i have been working on a gaming PC, all i have to do now is prepare the presentation and then im good to go. We also have to explain why use them (Frames per second, performance, storage). This sounds simple enough and i could use some of the experience for when i want to build my own custom computer.

So from now on for the rest of the month i have to walk through the frigid cold. Its not all that bad, we are learning alot, this week the teacher, Mr. Sharma, has us using blogs so this is why i now have a first blog, he also showed us a video about how the internet was created. (link to video) The video told us about, why we have the internet, as well as to why it was created and how it progressed to today's society. The class is fun for the most part, and also I do believe that we are gonna be rebuilding a computer for our final exams, so I cant wait to do that. this course appears like it would be great.
